This Privacy Policy explains how Esteem Enterprises ("VOW," "we," "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the VOW mobile apps, website, and related services (the "Services").

1. Who we are

Esteem Enterprises operates the VOW Services from Brooklyn, NY, USA. For privacy questions, email privacy@vowdating.com.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use VOW, we may collect:

  • Account data — name or display name, email, phone number, date of birth, password or auth tokens.
  • Profile data — photos, voice intros, prompts, dealbreakers, location (city/region), and preferences you choose to share.
  • Verification data — selfie checks and ID signals processed to confirm you are a real person of eligible age.
  • Usage data — matches, messages metadata, feature interactions, device type, app version, crash logs, and approximate IP-based location.
  • Payment data — handled by app stores or payment processors; we receive subscription status, not full card numbers.
  • Support data — messages you send to support, including attachments you provide.

3. How we use information

We use information to:

  • Create and secure your account
  • Power matching, messaging, and date-planning features
  • Enforce anti-ghost and community safety rules
  • Verify profiles and reduce fraud or abuse
  • Process subscriptions and show plan status
  • Improve product performance and reliability
  • Send service, security, and (with consent) marketing messages
  • Comply with law and respond to lawful requests

4. When we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

  • Other users — profile content you publish and messages you send to matches.
  • Service providers — hosting, analytics, customer support, verification, and payment vendors under contract.
  • Legal / safety — when required by law or to protect users, VOW, or the public from serious harm.
  • Business transfers — in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, with notice where required.

5. Retention & security

We keep account and profile data while your account is active and for a limited period afterward for safety, dispute resolution, and legal obligations. Message content may be retained according to product settings and abuse-review needs.

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to a dating service. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

6. Your rights & choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict certain processing of your data, and to opt out of marketing. You can:

  • Edit profile and privacy settings in the app
  • Delete your account in Settings → Account
  • Email privacy@vowdating.com for access or deletion requests
  • Unsubscribe from marketing emails via the footer link

7. Cookies & similar tech

Our website may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies for session continuity, preferences, security, and aggregated analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Essential cookies may be required for the site to function.

Mobile apps may use SDKs that collect device identifiers for crash reporting and product analytics. You can limit some tracking in your device settings.

8. Children

VOW is for adults 18+. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to remove it.
