1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to form a binding contract to use VOW. By using the Services, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and that you are not barred from using dating services under applicable law.
2. Your account
- Keep your login credentials confidential.
- One person per account; no fake or impersonation profiles.
- You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose safety risks.
3. Community rules
You agree not to:
- Harass, threaten, stalk, or scam other users
- Post illegal, hateful, or sexually exploitative content
- Share others' private information without consent
- Use bots, scrapers, or automated matching tools
- Bypass safety, verification, or anti-ghost systems
- Promote commercial services without our written permission
4. Guidelines & safety
VOW is built for intentional dating. Our Ghost Guard and match reply windows exist to protect everyone's time. Repeated unexplained non-replies may lead to warnings, temporary pauses, or account review as described in-product.
Meet people in public places when moving offline. VOW does not conduct criminal background checks on all users and cannot guarantee another person's identity or intentions. Report concerns in-app or at safety@vow.dating.
5. Subscriptions & billing
Free, VOW+, and VOW Pro features are described on our site and in the app. Paid plans renew automatically until cancelled through the Apple App Store, Google Play, or other billing channel you used. Prices may change with notice where required. Refunds are handled according to the store's policies and applicable law.
6. Content & intellectual property
You retain rights to content you upload. You grant VOW a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, display, and process that content as needed to operate the Services. VOW's name, logo, design, and software are owned by Esteem Enterprises and may not be used without permission.
7. Disclaimers
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VOW DISCLAIMS WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not guarantee matches, relationships, or uninterrupted service.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, VOW and its officers, employees, and partners will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Services. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the Services will not exceed the greater of (a) amounts you paid VOW in the 12 months before the claim or (b) USD $100.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Courts in New York County, New York will have exclusive jurisdiction, except where applicable consumer law requires otherwise.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms. Material changes will be communicated in-app or by email where appropriate.
